Creating in times of crisis might seem like the last thing you wanna (want to) do, but did you know that it can have a therapeutic effect on you?

There are different types of arts and crafts that you can do that will have a relaxing effect on your life. Such as Mandalas and Origami, which are traditional expressions that are often used as a way to control anxiety in an organic and creative way. Do you know about them?

Mandalas are sacred symbols that consist of circles filled with different symmetrical patterns and are used as a form of meditation to connect with yourself and let go of the mundane things that trouble your mind. You have most likely already seen them, they’ve become extremely popular in recent years and everyday more people have started to use them whether it be for their relaxing effects or just because they find them beautiful.

Origami is a Japanese paper art form that can help you relax at the same time you develop your motor skills and reinforce your hand-eye coordination. A commonly known figure is that of “A Thousand Paper Cranes”. Origami has obtained enormous fame whether it be to ask for wishes, have beautiful creations or just as an artistic way to relax.

So… which one do you choose?
